1952 Ray Weiman, Bellflower CA / BSA Bantam at Catalina - Vintage Motorcycle Ad
The Bantam crowed at Catalina!! In the 125 cc class there were 28 entries in the 50 mile torturous mountain Road Race from five different countries of the world including the USA. Seven of the 28 entries were BSA Bantams - the world's finest 125cc lightweight. Of sixteen finishers out of the 28 starters all seven Bantams finished - four of them among the first five finishers - and of course - Ray Weiman of Bellflower, California - on his "Snarlin Darlin" B.S.A. Bantam was the winner!
